Staten Island may not be big, but residents here know how to party. There are nightclubs that serve crafted beers in 75 different varieties. Sports bars where you can watch Sunday night football, listen to the jukebox, and shoot pool. A variety of music and style arises from the area, in places where nightclubs like Club Illusion sell $2 Jolly Rancher shots and offer a karaoke sing off. It is not just the 25 by 15 foot dance floor with the blue lighting that is a draw to Islanders close to the mainland borough.

Eve’s Lounge – Enjoy watching games on a 96-inch TV screen, pre-game beer, wine, spirits, tempting appetizers and plates of warm delicious foods. Guests to the lounge can test their thirst by going for a 40 oz. ultimate drink, a great selection of girly drinks and Happy Hours that sometimes last until 10 p.m., this is the place to kick back and relax with friends.

Roller Jam USA – If parents have young children, Roller Jam USA may be a good place to hang out with the family. There are an arcade games for children, bounce houses, roller skating rink, DJs and concerts for the age 13 and younger crowd. Want to do something without the children. There is also a dance floor and adult skating every Saturday from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Family can enjoy free pizza at the Family Skate on Fridays from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. The rink can also be rented for children’s parties and there is a DJ to provide music for the evening.

Above Rooftop – If you are looking for a dance club that literally lets you dance in a rooftop building. It provides night goers with beautiful views of Staten Island, Dress up and have a good time at Swanky bar. Their Carmel skinny drinks, such as the caramel martini, are rich and taste like a crème brulee.

Bayou at Clifton – It is Staten Island’s only Cajun-Creole restaurant that is a good place to take the family for an evening meal. From the Mad clams, to the Cajun hummus, the prices for dishes are not too incredibly high. It is also a great place to meet up after work, as they have a wide selection of colorful martinis and several non-alcoholic drinks to choose. If you like chocolate martinis, these tempting drinks made with Godiva chocolate cream liqueur and Absolut vodka give it the richest taste imaginable. It is also available in white chocolate, too.

Gennaro’s – Offers finer dining and a pizzeria under the same roof. This allows families to have the choice of pizza or finer dining options. This Staten Island restaurant has been in busy a long time and pioneered the fried calzone. It is a good place to good for a family dinner if families do not feel like doing much at night.
